Az Says This Is the Mommyblogger Version of “Posting the Cat”

I am sick.  Lots of coughing and vomiting and general unpleasantness.  Forgive the lack of posting, and enjoy instead these pictures of my adorable ones.

PoppySeed considers her options. Should she cruise the fence line or chew on wood chips?

Sweetpea rests after a hard afternoon of swings and sno cones.

JellyBean dances around a park feature that is improbably called the “Temple of Love.”

Az suggested I post this picture. He believes with all his heart that this outfit matches.

As you can see, there were reasons to marry him anyway.  I am a leg woman.

Don’t you hate how, when pregnant, you pee in your pants every time you cough?

    Or was that just me?

  2. Happy Geek

Love the pictures of your girls.
But I especially love the picture of Az the fashionista. He’s right, dragons should always be worn together.

  3. Jamie (Ohbecareful!)

Your girls are darling, and I love your captions.

Also, very wise to crop Az the Husband’s face out of the photograph. Keeps him inconspicuous.

    Hope you feel better soon.

That’s how my 4 year old matches her clothes.

“But this one and this one and this one all have flowers mommy, so they match. See this one has purple and orange flowers, and this one has brown and this one has pink flowers. “

You can crop all you want to, but if I ever see a man wearing that outfit, I’m going to know it’s Az. It’s just a little, um, distinctive.

I suppose it’s a good thing no one can see what I’m wearing. Or there would be mocking.

    Feel better soon!

My husband would SO wear that outfit! :-)

Az and my dh could be fashion brothers–I had to rescue mine from thinking Miami Vice was still vogue, white jackets, pastel pants and all—

SO sorry you’re not feeling well–sounds like a version of crud we had going on for a while. Get better soon!!
    Blessings!

    Your girls are adorable.

Oddly, I think Az is right. His outfit works in a weird way.

If he had been wearing socks, I’d have to withdraw my thumbs up.

  9. Leann

Oh, goodness! Az’s outfit was pretty loud. I think it’s sweet that he believes it matches. And you are a dear to let him wear it.

    Feel better soon!

(My last comment was totally directed at Az by the way. Because the girls? Too cute for words.)

I am never going to mock my husband’s clothing choices again. Ever.

Well, okay, maybe now and then. But I shouldn’t.

I just LOVE the last shot - no it’s not the legs of AZ, it’s the little foot!! I have a thing for little feet ;) I had a picture of my neice’s baby feet as a keychain for years. ** sigh ** They just keep getting bigger.

I am sure it is just something askew with my browser, but I am not sure about the matchiness of that outfit. Again, sure it is the browser…

  14. The Schwa

    The outfit doesn’t match??????

You make me laugh AND your children are adorable. Move to my town and I will bring you Healing Soup.

Maybe our husbands should get together. Mine just left for work wearing a blue hawaiian short-sleeve button down shirt (untucked), brown khakis, and his birkenstocks. I keep trying to tell him that birkenstocks do not go with khakis but he thinks that because they are both brown, they work and thinks nothing of showing off his ugly toes at work.
