Yesterday I wrote about Baby PoppySeed and her party skills. Today I have a post up at 5 Minutes for Parenting about my oldest daughter, the sprightly JellyBean. I think tomorrow I will need to write a post about Sweetpea just to maintain family parity.
I’ve been having some mild contractions. They are nothing drastic, but enough to encourage me that my body is preparing itself. Of course, they may go on like this for weeks. That would not be nice.
So have you figured out the name of our soon-to-be-born daughter? I will give you another hint: it is also the first name of a fictional British detective who has a color for a last name.

My first guess would be Cordelia and oh my I love that name. But I know any one of your choices are perfect! I love Shakespearean names!

Well, I cannot for the life of me think of what name you are talking of (I blame it all on this darned third trimester!).
And those contractions, hopefully they won’t go on for weeks with you. That would just be plain mean. Hang in there. It will be over. Eventually.

Ok, how about Blanche? Wasn’t there a “Blanche White”? But I’m not sure she’s british…
Robbin
Oh, Cordelia, and I would be so happy. Big James fan here.

Ah! I know what it is. Cordelia is a LOVELY name and I thouroughly approve. Man, you guys are going to have a LOT of daughters. Wow.
Yes, you must now write a post about your temporarily middle child.
Happy Geek
If it is Cordelia you rock forever.
Anne approves.
Ashley
Her name is Bianca, like “white”, from the Father Brown mysteries.

Thanks for the hint so I can figure it out. Beautiful.

Bless Jelly Beans heart! I’ve gotta love any girl whose mom would say,” She is the spark that sets our house ablaze, and I love to warm myself by her fire.” I have a whirling dirvish at my house, she’s 10 now. And her spunk and great personality entertain us and have been entertaining us since she was 6 months old. Those that are a handful at times are special and have a tender place in their mother’s hearts. I love my Cheap Chicken, as she’s called in bloggyland. I couldn’t imagine our home without her.

Oh, I hope it’s Cordelia. I begged to name our daughter Cordelia and Hubs couldn’t get behind it. But it’s gorgeous.
But I’m guessing Miranda. Go, King Lear!

I’m just envious that you HAVE A NAME PICKED OUT! Tomorrow’s baby day for us (c-section at 37 weeks due to the fact that my body’s in mutiny), and our list is still 16 LONG!
The Diaper Diaries
I am guessing Miranda. Just cause everyone else is guessing Cordelia

I have a JellyBean in my house, and I wouldn’t trade her for any of the sweet quiets! (She is my little Ju-Ju Bear.) Hurray for JellyBean, and hurray for her very wise, very pregnant Mama.
